How you will contribute
You will:
- Support and partner with the Senior People Lead on the definition and execution of global and local policy and change initiatives and understand the impacts of the changes planned
- Partner with function leads and middle managers to collaborate on creating and delivering the functional priorities and plan, providing strategic guidance
- Leverage data analytics in driving business solutions and decisions and support with the delivery of operational processes and leverage insights and data and translate into actionable plans to impact the bottom line and enable business strategy. Inform and update People Services of any local, legal and regulatory changes in market
- Lead and advise on talent management practices within assigned business unit related to workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy planning, leadership development, employee development, career and succession planning and talent mobility, approving job requisitions
- Build end-to-end capabilities that accelerate consumer-centric growth and operational excellence
- Manage works council relations and provide guidance to HR to ensure successful implementation of labor policies and compliance with laws and agreements

Purpose of the role:
The Sales People Lead will be a part of branch leadership team based at Chennai Office and responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The role serves as a consultant to business on People -related issues and acts as an employee champion and change agent. The People Lead – branch will assess and anticipate HR-related needs, align needs with people lead Sales, and develop integrated solutions.
How you will contribute
Strategic Partnering:
- Collaborate with sales leadership to understand business goals and align people strategies to support these objectives.
- Develop People strategies and initiatives that drive performance, employee engagement, and company culture.
Talent Management:
- Oversee talent acquisition processes for the sales team, ensuring the recruitment of high-caliber candidates.
- Implement and manage onboarding processes to integrate new sales employees effectively.
- Develop and execute training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales workforce.
Performance Management:
- Support the sales team in setting performance goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Work with sales managers to identify high-potential employees and develop career progression plans.
- Address performance issues in a timely and constructive manner.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for sales employees regarding People policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Mediate and resolve employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations when necessary.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture, addressing any issues of diversity and inclusion.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Analyze People data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to sales leadership.
- Monitor and report on workforce trends, turnover rates, and employee engagement levels.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes and updates.
Change Management:
- Support the implementation of organizational changes within the sales team.
- Assist in the development and communication of change management plans.
- Provide guidance and support to employees during periods of change.
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 3-6 years of HR experience, with a focus on business partnering and supporting sales functions.
- Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and performance management.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
