Job Description:


As a Sales/Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to explore your curiosity and work with some of the most innovative and diverse individuals worldwide. Your role will make an impact by:


  • Driving Penetration and share gain of 3M Electrical Cable Accessories portfolio in Construction and Industrial (C&I) Segment
  • Working closely with End Users, Engineering Consultants, electrical Contractors, Engineering Procurement Construction for technology adoption/approval
  • Collaborating with sales and application engineering team for lead generation, Trials, Demos and approvals for the focus products and new technologies/products launched by 3M from time to time.
  • Actively engaging with the key accounts & strategically developing business & relationship in C&I Segment pan India
  • Managing Sales pipeline and achieving assigned Sales Quota

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Ten (10) years of Sales and/or Business Development experience, primarily in construction and industrial market segment
  • Previous CRM and pipeline management experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Experience in construction and Industrial segments such as Power generation, Metals and Mining, Oil ang Gas/Petrochem Industry, Rail and Metro, Airports, Data Centers, Renewable (Solar and Wind).
  • Knowledge about Electrical industry and knowledge about product approval process with end users/engineering consultants in defined segment
  • Experience with large key accounts and channel partners
  • Experience in working in a matrix organization.
  • Willing to travel 50% of the time.
