ABOUT THE ROLE



Role Description:



The SAFe Change Manager will be part of the Scaled Agile Framework enablement Product Team and be responsible for maximining Amgen’sutilization of SAFe accelerators, tools and standards developed by the Product team.  This role involves monitoring, measuring and effectively communicatingthe adoption and maturity of SAFe delivery methodology at all levels of the organization.



Roles & Responsibilities:



  • Systematic engagement with key stakeholders(e.g.DTI Product Teams, Communities of Practice) to inspire and encourage the use and adoption of Scaled Agile practices and enablers.



  • Leverage and implement the organization’schange strategy and plan, ensuring alignment with the Scaled Agile Framework standards and objectives



  • Communicate change activities effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization



  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management strategies and makeadjustments as needed to ensure successful outcomes. Determine adoption metrics for SAFe enablers and actively report on progress by functions and teams.



  • Manage organizational expectations when it comes to SAFe maturity and business agility capabilities creating strong feedback loops.



  • Provide support on SAFe adoption strategies, development of new accelerators for teams across the organization and training.



  • Conduct issue identification, resolution, and continuous improvement of SAFe adoption.



Functional Skills:



Must-Have Skills:




  • Fluency with SAFeincludingpractices, data, measures and tools (e.g. Jira)



  • Ability to manage complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, technical teams, and vendors.



  • Ability to evaluate and synthesize complex information from multiple sources to make informed decisions.



  • Fluency in financial analysis in technical domains and the development of metrics that drive organizational change



  • Ability to influencestakeholders at all levels.



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organizational alignment and readiness for change



  • Proven track record of leading organizational transformation initiatives in complex environments



  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools



Good-to-Have Skills:



  • Agile Scrum experience



  • Experience with visualization tools – Jira Align, Tableau, Smartsheet



  • Experience with software delivery and product teams



Professional Certifications:



  • SAFe for Teams certification preferred (or equivalent)



Soft Skills:



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights



  • Strong verbal and written communication skills



  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams



  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation.




  • Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully. 



  • Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals



  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
