Prime Video is disrupting traditional media with an ever-increasing selection of movies, TV shows, Emmy Award winning original content, add-on subscriptions including HBO and Showtime, and live events like Thursday Night Football. Making great content available to customers, with high availability is just one part of the puzzle. Experimenting with different ways of making this content available to customers is equally important.Amazon Prime Video is looking to hire an insightful, results-oriented business analyst to join the team. The person will play a key role in generating and driving analysis the Prime Video Bigweld RPA team.The BA will bring innovation, a strategic perspective, a passionate voice, and an ability to prioritize and execute on a fast-moving set of priorities, competitive pressures, and operational initiatives. You will partner closely with program, product and technology teams (within Customer Service and across partner teams) to define and build innovative and delightful experiences for customers. You must be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and have the ability to break complex problems down into steps that drive product development at Amazon speed.Key job responsibilities1. Collaborates with the Solution Architects, Business Partners, Application Development, and Software Quality Assurance Teams to understand scope, solutions, constraints, and risk2. Ensure timely escalation of project related risks/issues to the project team4.Interacting with internal stakeholders to deep-dive outlier events3. Communicate identified risks and collaborate in developing mitigation strategies4. Analyze and solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities5. Communicating complex analysis and insights to our stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing6. Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format7. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding to discern user needs and key requirements.A day in the lifeYou will partner closely with program, product and technology teams (within Prime Video Marketing and across partner teams throughout Prime Video) to define and build innovative and delightful experiences for customers. You must be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and have the ability to break complex problems down into steps that drive product development at Amazon speed.Bachelor's degree or equivalentExperience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights2+ years of experience as an analyst or engineer in the data/Business Intelligence spaceHave built analytical solutions to solve business problems.Ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of business systems and business logic2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experienceExperience with SQL or ETLExperience with UiPath RPA toolUiPath Certified Business AnalysisTwo years post-baccalaureate experience in gathering requirements through workflow analysis and functional gap analysis; documenting process flow diagrams; and using Agile and User Story creation in a Scrum environment
