RPA Business Analyst Lead

Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced RPA Business Analyst Lead to spearhead robotic process automation initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, process improvement, and technology implementation, with a focus on delivering high-quality automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency.


Overall Responsibilities


  • Lead the RPA business analysis team in identifying, analyzing, and documenting automation opportunities across various business units.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable automation solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to understand business needs and gather input on process improvements.
  • Develop comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications for RPA implementations.
  • Coordinate with RPA development teams to ensure seamless project delivery and adherence to timelines.
  • Monitor the performance of implemented RPA solutions and make recommendations for enhancements.
  • Provide training and support to users and stakeholders on RPA tools and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with governance and security standards in RPA initiatives.

Software Requirements


  • RPA Tools: UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere
  • Database Technologies: SQL, Excel
  • Process Mapping Tools: Visio, Lucidchart
  • Collaboration Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Trello

Category-wise Technical Skills


  • Business Analysis:


    • Strong skills in gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.
    • Experience in producing business requirement documents (BRDs), process flows, and use cases.
  • RPA Expertise:


    • Proven experience in implementing RPA solutions using popular tools such as UiPath or Blue Prism.
    • Familiarity with the RPA development lifecycle and best practices.
  • Process Improvement:


    • Knowledge of process mapping and analysis methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
    • Ability to analyze and optimize processes for automation feasibility.
  • Technical Proficiency:


    • Proficient in SQL and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
    • Familiarity with integration techniques and APIs.

Experience


  • 8-10 years of experience in business analysis, with a significant focus on RPA projects.
  • Proven track record in leading teams and managing end-to-end automation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of business processes in financial services or a related industry.

Day-to-day Activities


  • Lead the analysis of business processes and identify opportunities for automation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Review and refine requirements with technical teams to ensure clarity and feasibility.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to processes, requirements, and testing.
  • Oversee the execution of RPA solutions and ensure users are trained and supported.
  • Analyze performance metrics of RPA implementations and recommend improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) or RPA tools are a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex business challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Adaptability and a proactive mindset to support continuous improvement efforts.
