Join our team as a Senior Associate in the Compliance, Conduct, and Operational Risk (CCOR) team, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the LE governance framework in EMEA. This role offers the opportunity to work with senior stakeholders and contribute to a proactive risk management culture.
As a Senior Associate within the Compliance team, you will assist in the regional interface of Legal Entity Risk Assessments (LERA) and Qualitative Risk Appetite Assessments (QRA). You will support the execution of the EMEA program across Compliance and Operational Risk, working in a dynamic environment to deliver effective solutions. Your role will involve supporting stakeholder relationships, driving efficiency, and ensuring a strong risk and control environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in communicating and implementing the LERA and QRA program standards across relevant lines of business (LOBs) and stakeholders.
- Support the execution of the LE Framework, including LERA, QRA, and Conduct initiatives across the region.
- Contribute to projects aimed at driving efficiency and effectiveness within the LE Framework.
- Collaborate with regional counterparts to ensure consistent execution of the LE Framework and share best practices.
- Assist in delivering training to enhance understanding and execution of the LE Framework.
- Work closely with the 1LOD to support effective execution and integration of the LE Framework.
- Develop presentations to communicate issues, recommendations, and status of initiatives.
- Identify control issues, assist in determining root causes, and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Provide analytical thinking to challenge the status quo and propose creative solutions.
- Contribute to innovation projects to automate manual processes
- Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, assess risks, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Support the creation of a proactive LE culture within 1LOD and 2LOD.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 10+ years’ experience in Compliance or Operational Risk.
- Strong command of written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of attention to detail and quality of work.
- Ability to deliver high-quality results on the regional program.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and demanding environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated with a positive, professional attitude.
- Team player with strong analytical, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to interact with all levels of personnel within the corporate framework.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Educated preferably to degree level with relevant experience in Compliance or Operational Risk.
- Shift timing 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

- Understanding of control frameworks and risk assessments.
- Ability to support automation of manual processes and data volumes.
- Experience with tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
