Resiliency Test Analyst - Assistant Vice President

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Testing Analyst Pool within the Testing Centre of Excellence (CoE) leads critical components of State Street's resilience testing program. This role involves planning, executing, and managing various testing activities, including client and third-party resilience tests, impact tolerance scenario testing, and crisis response testing. As an AVP, the role requires establishing testing standards, overseeing data quality, and driving continuous improvement in resilience capabilities. The AVP reports to the Head of Testing CoE and collaborates across departments to enhance operational resilience, ensuring compliance with State Street’s standards and regulatory requirements.

What we are looking for-

• Develop & execute detailed testing plans, ensure results are thoroughly documented, including all actions, and identified deficiencies
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting to support decision-making.

• Ability to drive initiatives independently, drive innovation and transformation with the ability to identify gaps in existing processes and propose best practices in terms of regular deliverables and long term strategy

• Excellent project management abilities, with a proven record of managing complex testing programs.
• Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
• Prior experience in operational resilience, risk management, or a related field within financial services, preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA) and best practices in resilience testing preferred.
• Proficiency in testing and reporting tools, with the ability to develop actionable insights and continuous improvement strategies.

Other Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead end-to-end resilience testing initiatives, from planning to execution and review, ensuring alignment with operational resilience goals.
• Establish and oversee testing protocols for client and third-party resilience, impact tolerance, and crisis scenarios.
• Conduct detailed analysis of test results, providing insights, recommendations, and improvement plans to enhance resilience.
• Manage cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration on testing schedules, data quality, and issue resolution.
• Develop comprehensive reports and presentations on testing outcomes, addressing senior management and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., DORA) by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of standards and translating them into testing practices.
• Collaborate with IT and risk management teams to integrate resilience testing data with broader risk management frameworks.
