Your Role and Responsibilities We are looking for a talented and highly motivated engineer to help advance our effort on creating the most efficient large language models, with a specific focus on creating values for Enterprises. The candidate will be responsible for training/finetuning of language models, developing prototype solutions to real-world problems, working closely with IBM Infrastructure teams, and IBM scientists in a flexible and fun environment.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
2+ years programming experience – Python / C / C++
Great problem solving skills, with a strong desire for quality and engineering excellence
Ability to quickly prototype ideas and use creative approaches for solving complex problems
Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with machine learning tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch etc.
Experience with distributed training and inference of large language models.
