Essential Job Duties: The role of the informatics team is to lead breakthrough innovations that will unlock the power of data to help pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies bring the miracles of medicine to the people in need faster and more efficiently.Develop analytic approaches, tools and methodologies that will utilize operational data.To create state-of-the-art software infrastructure using Workfront that will allow for the efficient capture, processing and dissemination of data for wider use within the company and our external clients.Responsibilities:Interpret data and learn how to present to others the stories they represent through rich and intuitive visualizations.Learn to develop novel ways of integrating, mining and visualizing diverse, high dimensional and poorly curated data sets.Develop, test and validate predictive models.Build underlying software infrastructure using Workfront to better manage, integrate and mine the data that Covance processes on a daily basis.Work closely with engineering teams and with some supervision participate in the full development cycle from product inception, research and prototyping to release in production.Write production quality code while implementing your own ideas.In Workfront, manage and resolve incident, service requests and problem tickets for assigned applications within designated performance metrics and in accordance with all applicable SOPs, team processes and management guidelines.Key Skills:Excellent command on VBA macro programmingCreate Excel and Power BI dashboards and reports from scratchIntermediate knowledge of SQLKnowledge of Tableau is an advantageAll other duties as assignedLabcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:As an EOE/AA employer, Labcorp strives for diversity and inclusion in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
