We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Renewals Manager to join our Customer Success team in India. This role is critical to driving predictable revenue through timely customer renewals, with a focus on identifying and executing cross-sell and upsell opportunities across our commercial and enterprise customer segments.



The Renewals Manager will collaborate with multiple internal teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Product, to ensure customers are deriving maximum value from our solutions. The ideal candidate is skilled at building strong customer relationships, negotiating complex agreements, and leveraging data to identify growth opportunities.


What the role will involve:
  • Renewals Management: Proactively manage the customer renewal process, ensuring timely execution of contracts across commercial and enterprise accounts.
  • Cross-Sell/Upsell: Identify and close cross-sell and upsell opportunities in collaboration with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment on business objectives.
  • Negotiation: Lead renewal discussions, overcome objections, and manage escalations effectively to secure favorable outcomes.
  • Data Analysis: Use customer data and insights to forecast renewals and identify potential churn risks, working closely with Customer Success to mitigate them.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement scalable processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the renewal and expansion motion.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align on account strategy and share customer feedback to drive product improvements.
  • Reporting: Track and report on renewal performance metrics, including renewal rate, expansion revenue, and churn rate, to ensure alignment with company goals.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a renewals, account management, or customer success role, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
    Skills:
  • Proven track record of managing customer renewals and driving expansion revenue.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze customer data to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Working experience with backend development and devops teams is a plus.
  • Tools: Proficiency in SaaS tools such as Salesforce, Clari, and ChurnZero.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Location:India (Remote/Bangalore): we have an office in Bangalore, and if you're based in Bangalore, you can choose to work out of our office.
