About the position:
The Condition Monitoring and Rotating Equipment Monitoring Team Lead is a critical position in support of our gloabl operating complex processing facilities. The position is responsible for providing reliability practices and the applicationt and maturation of FIRM (Facilities Integrity & Reliability Management) processes for Manufacturing and Australasia Business Unit. Team Lead responsibilities include direct oversight of multiple teams of Reliability and Condition Monitoring engineers. A focus and process and person safety will be key in the delivery of these services.
Key Responsibilities:

Understand the requirements and priorities of our operating facilities
Implement existing Chevron processes and systems in support of required work activities
Enable quality timely outputs in support of our operating facilities
Deliver workflows covering Con Mon and Equipment Monitoring
Contribute to metrics showing performance of your teams against competitive performance measures
Execute Chevron's 'Performance Management Process' of cross your team and monitor across you sub teams
Work within local budget spend in providing Reliability Eng services
Look for opportunities to standardise Monitoring processes in the application of FIRM
Promote a continual improvement mindset while removing barriers and seeking simple, fit-for-purpose solutions
Improve equipment reliability, mechanical availability, and operational availability while also reducing the risk of process safety incidents
Maintain, develop, and report appropriate key performance indicators that provide insight into the effectiveness of work activities
Provide work direction, coaching, training, feedback, and professional development forRE and Con MonTeams
Participate in hiring and organizational design as required
Ensure that team and individual deliverables are understood, performance expectations are clear, and that progress is measured and reported
Steward compliance with applicable industry codes and standards as well as applicable Chevron standards, instructions, and guidelines
Ensure failures are investigated, root causes established, and sustainable corrective actions are implemented
Contribute to the strategic and tactical business planning process and meet assigned targets
Steward the development and implementation of the FEAS Living Program, including the use of corporate risk-based inspection protocols
Work collaboratively with multiple groups across the processing Facilities to ensure the developing technical resources are visible and leveraged to address key mechanical integrity and reliability priorities
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10-15 years relevant experience providing machinery engineering and condition monitoring support in a complex oil and gas operating environment
Experience in a leadership position
Previous supervisor experience, with a preference for Chevron employee supervision, is preferred
An Engineering Degree in machinery, reliability, or a related field is preferred
Previous experience in a CPF (Complex Processing Facility) Operations, Maintenance, Technical, and/or Reliability and Integrity role(s), with a strong preference for direct experience in Machinery Engineering and/or Reliability Engineering support in a refinery, is preferred
Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly, the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1.30pm to 10.30pm.
