Job Description

The newly appointed Regional Marketing Specialist - MEA will support the Regional Marketing Manager MEA and APAC, to customize and execute John Crane’s Marketing strategy in MEA and provide regional market insight back to Global Marketing.




Duties & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Marketing team and Regional Market Leadership, assisting the Regional Marketing Manager in developing and executing targeted, defined, and measurable regional marketing plans.
  • Assist the Regional Marketing Manager in creating regional content, including customer testimonials and case studies, that supports the regional marketing plan.
  • Ensure local compliance with brand guidelines; Train regions and sites to ensure appropriate brand deployment. Improve customer experience – with local brand touchpoints
  • Support MEA Agents and Distributors with Channel Marketing support and resources
  • Support approved regional trade shows and other customer events ensuring alignment with Global Marketing
  • Assist Product Managers and Product Line Directors with communicating regional growth priorities to the sales force sales targets and training collateral
  • Gather market intelligence from the regional perspective, analyze data, and collect Voice of Customer input, supporting the Regional Marketing Manager in providing insights to the Global Marketing team.
  • Consolidate feedback from regions and assist the Regional Marketing Manager in making recommendations regarding product performance, pricing, financing, sales, demand generation, and distribution.
  • Participate in ad hoc requests for various initiatives, including new product launches etc.
  • The Regional Marketing Specialist supports the Regional Marketing Manager in customizing, developing, and executing John Crane’s Marketing strategy locally and provides regional market insights back to Global Marketing.
  • This individual will be required to work across Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, Vertical Marketing and Sales Enablement functions to ensure both top-down initiatives are deployed and that regional requirements resonate with global decision-makers.
  • Collaboration examples may include: (a) Support the Global Marcom team as needed on communication plans, inbound and outbound tactics, and localized content for global initiatives (b) Work with Vertical Business Directors to identify gaps in the John Crane portfolio in each regional market (c ) Work with Marcom and Product Marketing to develop required white papers, case studies and sales tools
  • You will support in driving global programs into the assigned region; coordinate deployment from multiple functions within Marketing (such as strategy, product marketing, pricing, marketing communications, vertical and account business development).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in dynamic and flexible environment
  • Strong strategic thinking
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to implement aggressively and influence without direct authority
  • Bachelor's degree, engineering preferred or business/marketing
  • Min 3 years’ experience as a Marketing Generalist.
  • Demonstrated track record of executing marketing plans, preferably in an industrial B2B environment.
  • Must have a moderate-to-high degree of written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English and be comfortable interfacing with internal/external stakeholders and customers
  • Person must have the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic and flexible environment.
  • Must be able to think strategically, implement aggressively and be detail-oriented.
  • Flexibility and resilience are mandatory behaviors; change is constant.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (preferably SAP and C4C) and lead management process is essential.
