We’re looking for a Regional Buyer to support our various current and future projects, where the focus would be for India and potentially Middle East as well. The main job function is to provide indirect sourcing support & Contract management.

What you’ll do:


  • Procurement of direct and indirect materials, services and capital equipment to support the business requirements
  • Provides purchase orders support to internal customers and vendors
  • Timely completion of all associated documents and communications to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Monitor and review contracts/agreements, pricing and performance, and engage with existing suppliers, to identify opportunities for rationalisation, consolidation and cost reduction for nominated spend categories
  • Support inventory optimisation, utilising analysis regarding slow moving/non-moving, excessive stock items, and items low in stock
  • Responsible for reviewing and processing of all requisitions and purchase orders
  • Personally responsible for processing all major and unusual purchase orders and inter-company purchases
  • Responsible for providing support to other regions (supply of spares and support in finding suppliers)
  • Negotiate with potential suppliers and responsible for negotiating major and unusual purchases
  • Conduct local and overseas market studies and discussion with sales representatives
  • Onboard new suppliers, evaluate and monitoring current suppliers
  • Establishing lead times, follow-up outstanding orders and identifying consistent late suppliers
  • Liaison with Key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Work with finance to resolve discrepancies & provide regular purchase reports to management

You’ll have the following skills and experience:


  • Sound knowledge of legal requirements applied to contract development
  • Experience within a procurement environment
  • Basic supplier contract terms knowledge (i.e. payment terms, guarantees, insurances, liabilities etc.)
  • Knowledge of source-to-pay processes including Sourcing, Contracting and Supplier Management. As well as a basic understanding of P2P processes to support handoffs to BPO.
