Job Description
Visa’s Asia Pacific Early Careers team is committed to nurturing the next generation of talent. We believe in creating opportunities for students and recent graduates to start and grow their careers in an environment that fosters learning, development, and innovation. We are seeking a proactive and organized Early Careers Coordinator to join our diverse Talent Acquisition team.
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid Work Model)
Contract Duration: Until June 2025
In this role, you will support the recruitment and development of early careers talent, including interns, new graduates, and entry-level hires. You will work closely with our recruiters, program managers, hiring managers, and external partners to ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience. - Recruitment Coordination
- Assist with the full cycle of recruitment for early careers programs, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and interview scheduling.
- Coordinate and attend early careers recruitment events and information sessions.
- Help to build and maintain relationships with universities, student organizations, and other key stakeholders.
- Support the development of marketing materials and social media content to attract top talent.
- Program Management
- Assist in the implementation and coordination of early careers programs, including internships, graduate rotation programs, and entry-level programs.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation sessions for early careers hires.
- Assist with the organization of networking events, professional development workshops, and other activities to enhance the early careers experience.
- Candidate Experience
- Ensure a positive and engaging experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Act as a point of contact for early careers candidates, providing timely communication and support.
- Gather feedback from candidates and hiring managers to continuously improve the recruitment process.
- Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, hiring data, and program metrics using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other tools.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the early careers recruitment process and programs coordination.
- Collaboration and Operational Excellence
- Work closely with the AP Early Careers team to align early careers initiatives with the overall talent strategy.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives related to inclusion and diversity, employer branding, and talent development.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in early careers recruitment and development.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in recruitment, Human Resources, or program coordination, with a preference for experience in early careers recruitment.
- Demonstrate strong organizational abilities, with proficiency in handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across various stakeholder groups.
- Show a passion for working with early careers talent, coupled with a commitment to creating a positive candidate experience.
- Adopt a consultative and solution-oriented mindset in managing stakeholder relationships, exhibiting creativity in addressing challenging situations.
- Capable of navigating ambiguous circumstances, establishing trust to operate independently, and prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Continuously raise the bar to focus on quality, detail, and operational excellence.
- Comfortable and skilled in managing complex geographical time zones for scheduling interviews and/or events.
Additional Information
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with a general guideline of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
