Job Description:
Huntsman Solutions India Pte Ltd is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Raw Material Associate Specialist (12 Months Contract) . The job holder is responsible for maintaining PSRC related data and ensure data integrity for all raw materials including PFR and Impacted products.
Raw Material data is critical to produce legal documents (SDS and Labels) prior to product dispatch
• Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
• Assists other employees in accomplishment of Huntsman company goals
• Participates in and completes company-required training programs
• Participates in Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company
The ideal candidate will be located in Mumbai, India.
As a Raw Material Associate Specialist (12 Months Contract) you will:
Responsible for entering and maintaining data in accordance with established standards in support of the Product Safety & Compliance team.
Input updated information received from supplier and performs impact assessment and notify it to Product Safety Communication Manager
Enter all relevant supplier details in Identifiers in GAIA.
Executes standard rules for regulatory compliance, hazard communication, and dangerous goods as assigned.
Follow-up with site administrator to get all information needed
Identify gap between supplier SDS and GAIA composition and physical/chemical properties and maintain correct information in GAIA for Raw materials and PFR in consultation with authors and Tox team and performs impact assessment and notify it to Product Safety Communication Manager
Monitors plant wise SDS and SQ inventory of RM and keeps it updated.
Collaborates with purchase team and try to get latest supplier questionnaire for existing RM over 5 years.
Works with 3rd party Raw Material database to acquire latest SDS for all the raw material inventories
Escalates issues as needed to the Product Safety Communication Manager
Works on Raw material projects including Content Server, bulk loads of old SQs
What skills and experiences are we looking for?
Bachelor's Degree in Science / Engineering with experience between 1 to 3 Years, whichever relevant
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of SAP-EHS systems or databases
Excellent excel skills
Good communication skills, fluency in English essential
Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing and maintains effective work relations with those encountered during the course of employment.
