Perform Reliability and Safety Analysis and Product Related Deliverables in accordance with QCD Commitments on the Project (s) / Program (s).
Apply the applicable Wabtec Transport Engineering / RAMS processes & instructions.
Network & Links
Engineering Design Team, Validation Team, Engineering RAMS Teams at multiple Business Units of Wabtec.
Project Team, Systems Team and other departments from Safety Stakeholder (Customer service, Sourcing, Industrial, etc.)
Integrating & Participating Units: Safety Engineers on the Counterparts (s) /program (s)
Service: ILS / LCC Engineer and F&S Engineer
External Interface: External Suppliers

Compliance to Wabtec Transport / Engineering Processes & Instructions for RAMS.
Accountable for
Responsibilities:
Delivering RAMS analyses compliant with QCD commitments
Reporting the progress of his / her activities and alert the RAMS Manager and N + 1 in case of difficulty.
Responsible For:
Performing the Reliability and Safety Analyzes He / she is charged in charge, as per applicable safety instructions / processes and other specific instructions/Processes and other specific requirements committed to customer.
Addressing Customer / Independent Parties (ISA, NOBO, Debo ...) Comments to get its approval on the safety/Reliability deliverables within the limits of Wabtec Transport Commitments.
Contributing to the assessment of the Safety / Reliability performance of the product and to upstream notification of the necessary safety/reliability requirements to ensure the achievement of the safety/reliability targets.
Applying the Wabtec Transport/ Engineering Rules & process to his/her activities in particular those dedicated to safety/reliability activities.
Having a Pro - Active Challenge View on Safety / Reliability Data / Results He / She Handles to Enhance the adequacy/consistency of the Safety / Reliability Studies and Requirements.
Seeking the technical understanding of Wabtec Transport products in order to better evaluate their safety / reliability performance and potential areas of improvement.
Adopting a product – oriented mindset in performing his/her studies to foster the capitalization of the results of studies towards the product reliability and safety performance.
Job Specifications:
Knowledge & Experience
Railway RAMS analysis and demonstration methods and tools.
5+ years of experience in Railway or equivalent domain with safety and reliability.
RBD, Reliability Allocation, IHA, SHA, PHA, FMECA, Reliability Prediction, FTA.
Fire safety analysis (Recyclability, Eco Design, Material declaration, Reach, RoHS)
CENELEC Standards (EN 50126, EN 45545); MIL - 217, IEC62380, MIL882, NPRD and NFPA 130 etc.
Hands on with Safety Case and Reliability Demonstration
Electrical and / or Electro - Mechanical Engineering
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Time management skills.
Priorities of Sense.
Structured and Organized with hands-on approach.
English operational for reading and writing for Technical documentation.
