R&D Portfolio reporting manager

Our Team:

The Portfolio Management team is responsible for managing the portfolio of research and development (R&D) projects within the pharmaceutical group Sanofi. The team has a key position at the center of the organization, and through interdependencies with all R&D stakeholders, and beyond, we aim at implementing a robust and efficient portfolio management process, enabling pipeline sustainability and influencing decision-making. We ensure reporting, benchmarking, analysis and risk assessment for both research and development for Pharma and vaccines pipelines.

As part of its reporting activities, the Portfolio Management team is looking for a new position to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of impactful dashboards on the R&D portfolio, using digital technologies such as Power BI/Power Apps in alignment with the new portfolio reporting vision as endorsed by end to end portfolio steerco.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage complex elements on Power BI to build the visuals needed to support the sanofi R&D organization. Visuals already developed through Tableau applications will serve as a basis.
• Support the convergence of master data between Pharma & Vaccines for a fully integrated vision
• Implement optimum processes to link R&D portfolio data from server to the Portfolio Data Fabric
• Ensure powerful reporting with an integrated scope of information (Research + Development - Pharma + Vaccines)
• Participate to the development of the reporting 2.0 solution in the context of end-to-end Program.

About you

Skills that you have:

• Experience: ≥5 years of experience in pharmaceuticals/healthcare industry; Managing complex data/visuals in the Power BI/Power Apps environment
• Soft skills: Team spirit, cross-functional work, proactivity, ability to carry out certain tasks independently
• Technical skills: Management of complex elements on Data visualisation applications (Power BI/Power Apps and Tableau Desktop/Tableau Prep Builder) and Data repository; analytical skills
• Education: Bachelors degree required.  Core training in data sciences a plus; additional training to understand the R&D environment in the pharmaceutical industry
• Languages: English (all data, reports and interactions with business stakeholders are managed in English)
