R&D Portfolio Benchmarking Manager

Our Team:

The Portfolio Management team is responsible for managing the portfolio of research and development (R&D) projects within the pharmaceutical group Sanofi. The team has a key position at the center of the organization, and through interdependencies with all R&D stakeholders, and beyond, we aim at implementing a robust and efficient portfolio management process, enabling pipeline sustainability and influencing decision-making. We ensure reporting, benchmarking, analysis and risk assessment for both research and development for Pharma and vaccines pipelines.

As part of its benchmarking activities, the Portfolio Management team is looking for a new position to support building a new strategic benchmarking capability enabling R&D strategy across multiple data domains including but not limited to organization, finance, portfolio productivity, etc.

Main responsibilities:

• Participate in the collection and cleansing of internal and external data
• Ensure clustering, consolidation and analysis of data and setting up of benchmark repositories
• Support the preparation of data for the annual contribution with third party companies
• Manage digitalization and automation of benchmarking data
• Contribute to ad hoc benchmarking analyses and be a driving force to provide impactful visuals for reporting.

About you

Skills that you have:

• Experience: ≥5 years of experience in pharmaceuticals/healthcare industry; experienced in project data management
• Soft skills: detail-oriented, rigorous and quality focused; Stakeholder management; communication skills; and ability to work independently and within a team environment, leading project teams
• Technical skills: Data management and analysis
• Education: Bachelors degree required. Core training in data sciences a plus; additional training to understand the R&D environment in the Pharmaceutical Industry
• Languages: English (all data, reports and interactions with business stakeholders are managed in English)
