About the role Location- Tumkur
Reporting to- QC Laboratory Lead
The person in this role will require to manage the Analytical Laboratory and to handle GC, GCMS and all other analytical lab instrument to support RM and FG Testings.
This position reports to the QC laboratory Lead. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include implementation and execution of Laboratory Management System, handling testing and release of RM, PM, WIP, FG, coordinating with other executives for shift and day to day planning.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for sensory evaluation of flavours and other food ingredient
- Hands-on experience in GC-FID Headspace, GCMS (Operation, trouble shooting, method validation and calibration)
- In-depth knowledge of Chromatographic technics (GC-FID Headspace and GCMS)
Other Competencies:
- Implement various components of quality control and assurance program comprised of data analysis, systems evaluation, product assessment and quality technology

Qualifications and skills Qualifications:
- Postgraduate in Analytical Chemistry/Organic Chemistry
- Candidates having ISO 17025 Certificate and from NABL testing labs, from QC lab background from food manufacturer would be preferred
- Work Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years working experience in the food testing, from NABL labs, food/food ingredients manufacturing testing laboratories. Candidate from Flavour industry background would be preferred.
- Possess good organizational skill and show good analytical skil
- A team player with high commitment and able to perform under pressure
- Should be comfortable working in a fast changing and growing global environment where accountability, quality, timeliness are key components
