Role Description:


We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join a highly collaborative, cross-functional, agile product development team responsible for building up test strategy, delivering high quality and on-time software systems for our Analytics product in Analytics division, and setup high performance QE team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manages and leads end-to-end test delivery, activities and implementation of quality control frameworks in-line with the organisation's quality policies, standards and processes to deliver high quality products.
  • Performs continuous improvements to improve the testing efficiency, application performance/capacity, and speed of delivery.
  • Implements new / improved software development processes and best practices, as required by group or departmental Heads.
  • Manages the performance and development of the team, promoting an inclusive and open culture, holding responsibility for motivation, retention and performance management, and leads by example.
  • Ensures all quality control tests and maintenance activities are carried out accurately and documented in full.
  • Oversees the maintenance of all customer technology solutions, ensuring all issues are resolved on time.
  • Develops understanding of LSEG's commercial direction and how quality and technology are a part of this.
  • Builds trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, growing own network and collaborating with other teams.
  • Communicates complex / technical information clearly and concisely in an audience-appropriate format.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills:


Essential Skills and Experience


  • 10+ years’ experience in software delivery domain.
  • Solid experience of testing processes and methodologies: strategy, plan, design, execute, report and measurement.
  • Solid experience of agile methodology.
  • and good sense of quality ownership and risk assessment.
  • Rich experience in implementing and driving complex testing solutions across applications/projects, cover both functional and non-functional testing.
  • Hands on experience on automation test with industry well-known automation frameworks cross API, computation service, database and/or UI.
  • Skillful on programming language: Python / Java.
  • Solid hands-on experience in at least some IT areas: Solution Design, Database, Network, DevOps, etc.
  • Sense of industry development, best practice and latest trend.
  • Good collaboration spirit and skills on effective communication and risk management.
  • Experience of public cloud is a plus.
  • Understanding of financial markets, experience testing financial software a plus.
  • Experience of budget management is a plus.
