Job Title: Quality Engineer
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products meet specifications and standards in a hands-on manufacturing environment. The role requires prior experience in a product manufacturing and assembly plant, where the engineer will oversee quality control processes, identify non-conformances, and take immediate corrective actions.
The ideal candidate should have in-depth process knowledge in Sheet Metal Fabrication, Assembly, and CNC Machining, understanding their advantages and limitations related to quality requirements. The role also requires expertise in implementing quality test procedures, designing Jigs, Fixtures, and Receiving Gauges, and ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 documentation.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a product manufacturing and assembly environment.
Strong understanding of Sheet Metal Fabrication, Assembly, and CNC Machining.
Expertise in ISO 9001 documentation and compliance.
Proficiency in using measuring instruments, test rings, gauges, and jigs/fixtures.
Ability to develop and implement quality test procedures for various manufacturing processes.
Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and corrective action implementation.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
Experience in handling quality control documentation and reports.
Knowledge of manufacturing tolerances, industry standards, and process optimization.
Experience in automotive, aerospace, or precision manufacturing industries.
Proficiency in statistical quality control (SQC) and Six Sigma methodologies.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
