Department
You will be the part of FLSmidth’ s Quality control team who is responsible for handling our Assembly Quality Control function for all FLSmidth new mining products manufactured in Bawal facility. This involves good level of technical expertise for all assembly processes.
Role
You will be the part of FLSmidth’ s Quality team and responsible for ensuring that all assembly processes of our new mining products meet our rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role will involve overseeing quality control activities, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly department.
Your responsibilities
Quality Oversight: Oversee assembly processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements that enhance product quality and efficiency.
Root Cause & Corrective Actions: Lead root cause analysis for defects and develop corrective action plans, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Training & Continuous Improvement: Provide training to assembly teams on quality standards, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness.
Supplier & Customer Liaison: Ensure the quality of incoming materials, address customer complaints, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in assembly processes.
What you bring
Strong Communication & Teamwork: Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Proficient in QC Tools: Skilled in 7 QC tools and techniques with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Technical Expertise: Knowledgeable in handling measuring instruments and understanding manufacturing processes for mining products.
Time Management: Strong time management skills and ability to conduct internal audits.
Standards & Certifications: In-depth knowledge of materials, IS & EN standards, with ASNT Level 2 in PT, MPT, UT being desirable.
Education Qualification
Bachelor’s engineering degree from a reputed university specializing in Mechanical.
Experience
5+ Years of relevant experience.
