Quality Control Engineer

We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer to oversee and maintain quality control standards in construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and verifying that all materials and workmanship meet project requirements.

• Implement and monitor quality control procedures for construction projects.
  
• Conduct routine and random site inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  
• Verify that materials and construction work meet project specifications and industry standards.
  
• Prepare detailed reports on quality issues, maintain QC documentation, and ensure timely submission of reports.
  
• Identify non-conformities, initiate corrective actions, and implement preventive measures.
  
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues.
  
• Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and environmental regulations.
  
• Oversee material testing and validation processes in line with project requirements.
  
• Provide training and guidance to construction teams on quality control processes and best practices.
  
• Recommend improvements to quality control procedures and implement best practices in construction quality management.
  

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry.
  
• ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or other relevant quality certifications are a plus.
  
• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and codes.
  
• Proficiency in conducting inspections, audits, and material testing.
  
• Understanding of project specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  
• Experience with AutoCAD, MS Office, and QA/QC reporting tools.
  
• Ability to identify issues, provide solutions, and implement corrective actions.
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.
  
• A meticulous approach to monitoring construction quality and identifying deviations.
  

• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in the construction industry.
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
