The Prime Video Original Series Marketing QAS ensures our ads and marketing breakouts meet Amazon’s high bar for customer experience. As a QA Specialist you will have the opportunity to be part of a team working on digital advertising for Prime Video’s original and exclusive content including Award-winning shows and movies. Our QA team works on behalf of millions of Amazon customers, ensuring that marketing placements meet our high-quality standards. In addition to experience with manual testing, we’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance professional who excels at finding bugs and working on and a wide range of technologies in the creative space with a wide array of ever-changing requirements.
Key job responsibilities
The Role
The successful Quality Assurance Specialist will be obsessed with customer experience, continual improvement, a high design bar and an active desire to challenge the status quo.
In this role, you will:
· Find patterns in defects and drive quality upstream by specific and timely reporting.
· Assist designers, traffickers or other testers to reproduce errant behavior and accurately report defects found.
· Execute and verify results of existing tests.
· Ensure proper inputs of data to help drive operational excellence.
· Coach designers/editor on defect correction related to image and video Quality.
- 2+ years of professional experience in executing test cases across different platforms (mobile, tablet and desktop).
- English, written and spoken
- Demonstrated working knowledge with various QA methodologies and tools.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in delivering a world-class customer experience (ideally in the digital advertising industry).
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Advertising, Front-end Engineering (computer science) or equivalent proven experience.
- Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
- High organizational skills, tracking multiple test executions simultaneously and be able to synthesize the results.
- Meticulous attention to detail; ability to juggle many tasks in parallel without lowering the quality bar.
- Experience in QA automation processes and tools (desirable).
- Experience in Digital Publishing (Static Assets, Motion Graphics and A/V assets)
