Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Automation Engineer with expertise in automation tools like TestComplete, Selenium, UFT, and strong scripting capabilities in Java and C#. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

This role requires hands-on experience in automating functional and regression tests, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address software defects efficiently.

Job Description :

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using TestComplete, Selenium, UFT, and other automation tools.

Collaborate closely with software developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective test automation strategies.

Implement automated tests using Java scripting and C# to ensure full coverage of the software functionality.

Integrate test automation with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable deployment of software builds.

Design, develop, and enhance automation frameworks, promoting code reuse and modularization.

Perform functional, regression, performance, and load testing to ensure the robustness of software.

Track and manage defects, collaborating with the development team for timely resolution.

Conduct root cause analysis for test failures and recommend appropriate solutions.

Prepare detailed test reports, document test scripts, and maintain traceability of requirements and test cases.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on best practices for test automation.

Stay updated on the latest automation testing trends and tools, recommending improvements to the existing automation framework.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Around 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong background in CAD/CAM systems and software testing.
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software applications and systems (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA).
  • Proficiency in automation testing techniques and methodologies.
  • TestComplete, Selenium, UFT, and other automation tools, Java scripting and C#
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA processes.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate test results and issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
