OPERATIONS PERFORMANCE ENABLEMENT – DATA, ANALYTICS & REPORTING – QUALITY ANALYTICS & DATA SPECIALISTData, Analytics & Reporting provides awareness of Operations’ performance focusing on the key data sets that power our measurement of timelines, accuracy and completeness. The team is responsible for the delivery of timely operational reporting required to run our core customer workflows.Working within Data, Analytics & Reporting team, the Quality Analytics & Data Specialist role is passionate about creation robust data quality tests across our content to include different dimensions of data quality like timeliness, accuracy, completeness & coverage. This is an individual contributor role and requires working with minimum supervision.The role requires strong working experience in working with Database technologies (Oracle, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, etc) & data processing languages (SQL, Python, R, etc.), interpersonal & communication skills and strategic execution – working with our data guides, our colleagues in Operations Performance Enablement and Business Delivery teams Responsibilities / AccountabilitiesDesign and implement automated and standardized analysis tools, empowering users to uncover business opportunities and make informed decisions.Examine and validate data integrity throughout the collection process, performing data profiling to identify and comprehend data anomalies.Translate sophisticated data and analyses into readily digestible formats, enabling supported teams to accurately assess the performance of key business areas, products, and processes.Work as part of a team with the other data quality & reporting teams to build a deep understanding of logics to produce different reportsWork with Data Stewards, Business Stewards, Data Custodians and Data Owners and other business partners to determine the root cause of DQ issues, recommend the action plan to resolve and build data quality checks to flag similar issues in the futureBuild strong relationships with business partners and work hand in hand to understand business complaints on data quality issues and create accurate data quality checks.Demonstrates deep familiarity with data domain as well as Data Quality standards & practices to optimally improve data quality controls.Work with our other shared services groups, specifically Performance & Insights team, Business teams & Data expertsExposure to AI/ML is helpfulAbility to handle sophisticated data and extracting data from different sources to test for qualityCreate algorithms to extract data anomalies and have a high hit-rate focusing on true positivesWork in a multifaceted environment and multiple collaboratorsDeep understating of data setsFocusing on timeliness, accuracy, completeness & coverage aspects across different content setsWork in a fast paced environment within minimum supervision and mentorshipQualifications/CapabilitiesCandidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field8+ years’ meaningful experience in data quality testing, data mining, data monitoringWorking experience and knowledge in Power BI, Tableau & other data visualization technologiesWorking experience and knowledge in Microsoft Power PlatformExperience working with Database technologies (Oracle, Snowflake, Azure, etc) & data processing languages (SQL, Python, R, etc.)Ability to work proactively, with good interpersonal skills across all levels of staffExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong Microsoft office knowledge (excel, PowerPoint)Must be self-motivated, resourceful, dynamic (able to respond to changing priorities) and able to work with minimal direction within a distributed teamExcellent organizational skills, with ability to navigate a sophisticated matrix environment and coordinate/prioritize work efficientlyMust be prepared to work UK/US hours as and when requiredHands on experience of building Data Quality checks, and Tracing back data issues through data pipelines.Working experience in AI/MLHybrid working (3 days working from office)LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
