Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid

Shift: 12 pm to 9 pm

Responsibilities

• Write test strategy and test case documents that are derived from user stories for one or more features.   Test cases should include positive and negative scenarios as well as test data setup / configuration and expected results.
• Contribute to other testing activities such as stress, load, and performance testing where required.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Selenium Java based test framework components as part of framework improvement and enhancement.
• Provide estimates for testing effort-based user stories as part of sprint planning.
• Contribute and participate in other Agile scrum activities such as daily standups, backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Able to work on projects individually and directly with clients.

Skills

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Automation Testing with Selenium and Java, as well as Functional Testing for enterprise level web applications.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Oracle SQL including multiple tables joins with complex queries.
• RESTful API testing and knowledge of Postman.
• Knowledge of DOM model and navigating UI elements for UI (HTML/XHTML, Single Page, etc.) testing.
• Experience with other forms for testing including stress/load, performance, security (nice to have), and browser compatibility testing.
• Experience within Agile development environment (Sprint planning, demos and retrospectives, and other sprint ceremonies).
• Testing and triaging of defects and issues.
• Knowledge of defect tracking / task tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of build automation and deployment tools such as Jenkins as well as source code repository tools such as Git.
