Job Description:


Our Internal Controls Quality Assurance team is supporting the compliance & control environment.


We are looking for candidates for an exciting and challenging role in our Internal Controls Quality Assurance team. Members of this team are truly engaged in all aspects of reconciliation and JE analysis & review for accuracy and completeness in line with DXC finance policy.


Role Responsibilities includes:


  • Responsible for performing JE & reconciliation analysis & reviews against pre agreed KPIs
  • Comprehensive & error free analysis and reporting
  • Keen understanding of finance policy requirements.
  • Drive and lead review calls with JE posting and account reconciliation teams
  • Manage cases end to end including interaction with internal and external stakeholders
  • Engage respective stakeholders in examining moderate to high complex issues or concerns to find a solution.
  • Expertise in handling MS office tools and applications such as SAP, ORACLE etc.
  • Lead and/or provide expertise to functional project teams and possibly participate in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Train mentor and monitor peers and the team members.

Education and Experience Required: 


  • First level university degree in finance/accounting discipline. Mcom in accountancy or CA intermediates/ CAs will be preferred
  • Extensive experience in R2R including and not limited to JE posting and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts is a must. Experience in transactional review and analysis would be given preference
  • Experience in interaction with internal and external customers would be an added advantage
  • 9+ years of typically post qualification experience
  • Exposure to work on target-based model

Knowledge and Skills Required: 


  • Understanding of financial systems, P&L, Balance sheet, etc.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Developing presentation skills; strong PowerPoint skills and working knowledge of Power BI
  • Expert proficiency in Excel, macros and large data set analysis
  • SAP/Business Intelligence/ EDW and LH GL/LH BW knowledge preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize
