On the Alexa Built-In (ABI) team, you’ll build software to enable Alexa’s capabilities everywhere – in speakers, appliances, wearables, robots, and more! Key job responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with product teams and partners teams to understand a product vision and customer segment and develop appropriate test strategies
• Provide strategic direction, effective delegation and mentorship to QA engineers, Software Development engineers and Business Intelligence engineers
• Directly lead the testing of an existing and/or new AVS product, bringing together QA staffing from new hiring and from other existing QA projects
• Establish and streamline an improved QA pipeline to support new and expanding AVS product development challenges
• Grow both our international QA teams to efficiently and confidently release higher-quality products for our customers
• Evaluate and communicate the launch readiness of milestones and upcoming releases to key stakeholders and executive leaders
- 1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- 3+ years of quality assurance teams management experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience managing manual testers
- Experience managing automation testers
- Experience testing web technologies and back-end services
- Experience identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results with a strong QA background
- Experience preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals
- Experience transforming QA programs from manual to automation
