QA Engineer :: VPN/Security/End client security testing :: Experience 6-9 Years

Cisco is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer passionate about finding defects in code and improving the quality of our Cisco products!

We are looking to hire a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Secure Client Team. The Cisco Secure Client helps enable a highly secure connectivity experience across a broad set of PC and mobile devices.

• 7-10 years of work experience in software testing supporting the area of endpoint testing, and end-to-end testing across various operating systems.
• Detailed knowledge of STLC, test planning, testing, defect tracking management and reporting.
• Experience in test infrastructure creation - firewall, ASA, FTD, IPS,IDS ,DHCP, DNS, LDAP, AAA, 802.11 technologies.
• Proficient in functionality testing, system, regression and user acceptance testing.
• Capable of quickly learning and delivering solutions as an individual and as part of a team.
• Good experience and knowledge of L4-L7 protocols, cloud testing, traffic generator tools, and Wireshark.
• Working experience in Agile environment and scrum.
• Ability to work well in both team environment and individual contributor.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem diagnosis skills are a must, coupled with a keen interest in learning and excellent communication abilities.

• Virtualization experience ( EXSI, VMware)
• Experience with Cloud technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, a related field.
