Your Role and Responsibilities The Db2 Ecosystem team is seeking for a QA Engineers to join our Kochi software lab. This is your opportunity to dive into the world of coding and automation. You’ll be part of a team of QA working on leading edge technology that is solving some of the world’s most complex problems and supporting the whole Db2 Development organization. There will be opportunities to work closely with architects and managers to diagnose and plan the delivery of new features. You’ll be involved in writing and maintaining automated systems in support of key functions, such as pipelines for testing of Db2 products, and providing services to our internal and external customers.Your responsibilities will include:
Devise the test plans based on the feature/product specification
Ensure functional, regression and performance standards are set and met for the products.
Maintain high efficiency in test execution by focusing on automation
Set and maintain high standards in delivery
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
System test automation development: drive proper automation on system test to facilitate system test and improve productivity continuously
System test: perform system testing for releases of the product
Collaboration with DEV: wok together with DEV domains to a resolution of the issues exposed from the testing activities
Agile development methodologies: familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Familiar with Github and Jenkins
Familiar with cloud and container technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, etc.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Fundamental knowledge on rational database system and SQL
