- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Requirements:
- Automation Experience:Minimum of 5 years of proven hands-on experience in QA automation.
- Technologies:Demonstrable experience in automation technologies including Java, Selenium, Cucumber, BDD, SQL, API automation, and Rest Assured for API testing.
- Testing Tools:In-depth knowledge of test management software (e.g., ALM, Jira).
- SQL Proficiency:Proficiency in using SQL queries for databases or large datasets.
- Data Formats:Expertise in working with XML, XSLT, SOAP, and JSON formats.
- Methodologies:Experience in Agile methodology and DevOps, with a focus on integrating automated tests in Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines.
- Analytical Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Automation Development:Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for applications and APIs.
- Testing:Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing using automated tools.
- Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Documentation:Write clear and concise documentation for test plans, test cases, and automation processes.
- Continuous Improvement:Identify areas for improvement and suggest enhancements to the testing process and tools.
- Code Review:Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and improve the quality of the codebase.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Execute automated test scripts and analyze results.
- Monitor and report on testing progress and results to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects found during testing.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and fix issues in the code.
- Attend daily stand-ups and participate in sprint planning sessions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in QA and automation.
