Python QA Engineer (Selenium, API & Database Testing)

Job Description:Synechron is seeking a skilled and experienced Python QA Engineer with a strong background in automation testing using Selenium, TestNG, and other relevant tools. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute automation scripts, perform functional and regression testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software.

Software Requirements:

• Proficient in Selenium, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Experience with API testing and database testing

Overall Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts.
• Perform functional and regression testing.
• Identify and track software defects.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software.

Technical Skills:

• Primary Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Experience with Selenium and Python.
  • Ability to write clean and reusable automation scripts.
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Secondary Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with API testing and database testing.

Experience:

• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in automation testing.
• Prior experience with Selenium and Python.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Write, maintain, and execute automated test cases.
• Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts.
• Review test cases and provide feedback.
• Participate in agile sprint planning and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
