We are working on building a capability in the company of Integrated Marketing and as a part of this we require a resource who could lead the Marketing Outreach activities for a set of value streams in Bosch Mobility Platform & Solutions (MPS). We are looking for an integrated Marketing and PR professional with a prior experience of 4-6 years in the Digital Commerce and / or B2B Marketing in the logistics space handling their communication and media mandate.



Job Description

Overview of the role


  • As a Software, Firmware & IoT products Purchase Specialist at Bosch Mobility Platform and Solutions India Private Limited , you will be responsible for managing the acquisition/Purchase of software licenses, subscriptions, Solutions including SDK, API’s  and related Technologies.
  •  You will collaborate closely with various departments to understand their software requirements, negotiate favorable terms with vendors, and ensure timely procurement and onboard them to Platform.
  • You will be responsible for Evaluating the supplier & Products as per Standards/legal requirements.
  • You will be responsible for Price negotiation & required Technical & Commercial contracts

Primary Responsibilities


  • Conduct thorough assessments & curation of software & IoT products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with software vendors and negotiate pricing and contract terms.
  • Coordinate with legal and Product teams to review and finalize vendor contracts and agreements.
  • Monitor software license compliance and ensure adherence to usage policies.
  • Evaluate product/solutions for Scalability.
  • Track software license renewals and manage vendor relationships for ongoing support and updates.
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on software selection based on functional requirements and budget considerations.
  • Continuously Evaluate new software solutions and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Continuously Evaluate & onboard new Vendors for different products & solutions
  • Collaborate with IT/Product teams to ensure seamless integration/onboarding/ deployment of new software solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of software licenses, agreements, and procurement activities.

Qualifications

. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication or a related field.


· Proven experience of 3-5 years in software procurement or purchasing role, preferably in a corporate environment.


· Strong knowledge on Platform Business models


· Strong knowledge on Cloud, Blockchain & other latest Software


· Experience in Electronics, Telecommunication & Service Supplier  


  Assessment & Release process


· Strong understanding of software licensing models and agreements.


· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.


· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.


· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.


· Proficiency in using procurement and vendor management software/tools.


· Familiarity with IT infrastructure and software deployment processes is a plus.
