Job Description



The Publishing Associate contributes to the timely and accurate planning for all aspects of KNA’s print and digital retail publishing program, from internal launch meetings through presentation on online marketplaces such as Amazon. This includes coordinating sales meetings, preparing and updating metadata, maintaining product pages on Amazon, and supporting accounts. 


Primary/Key Responsibilities


Sales 


  • Coordinate development of sales materials, including title lists, tip sheets, and slide decks 


  • Prepare materials for seasonal launch meetings, including product P&Ls 


  • Prepare materials for seasonal and channel-specific sales meetings with distribution partner Simon & Schuster 


  • Attend sales conferences and document follow up 


  • Coordinate purchase orders, order tracking, and invoice requests for direct accounts 


  • Manage and coordinate responses to product queries with customer support teams 


Online Retail Marketing


  • Review and finalize product metadata prior to release to ensure accuracy and effectiveness 


  • Update product metadata as required to drive discoverability and conversion 


  • Submit and track tickets to ensure optimal product pages on Amazon 


  • Manage checklist for new releases to ensure successful launches 


  • Monitor online retail product pages to ensure accuracy and update as needed 


  • Coordinate with KNA Marketing and Design team to deliver timely and effective online merchandising assets 


  • Compile and deliver product page enhancements for top revenue-driving categories and products, including text, images, and videos 


  • Comply with all online retail promotion requirements, including submission deadlines for nominations, and complete and accurate nomination templates


  • Hybrid Schedule: 3 days remote / 2 days in office


  • 30-day notification period preferred


Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s Degree


  • 2+ years experience in publishing experience


  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills


  • Strong collaboration and communication skills


  • Solid project management skills


  • Detail-oriented


  • Strong working knowledge of Google Apps and Microsoft Office
