In support of our portfolio of 2700+ hybrid and open access scientific journals, you will actively contribute to advancing science, improving health outcomes, and fostering equitable participation in publishing.
 


About the Role
 


You will deliver a valuable service to our team by handling various journal administrative tasks on behalf of your publishers. You will take ownership for coordinating off-site and on-line meetings for your publishers. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop analytical reporting through data collection. report creation, and identifying insights to contribute to our strategy.
 


Responsibilities
 


  • Coordinating logistics for off-site and on-line Editorial Board Meetings including invitations, booking locations and facilities for attendees. Ensuring a professional and seamless experience for all


  • Gathering data, information, facts by using existing reports to build analyses for publishers to use in proposals, reports. editorial appointments and meetings


  • Contributing to Best Practice initiatives for operational procedures and workflow efficiency through collaborating with peers and internal teams


  • Owning varied administration tasks to support the publisher in the smooth running and success of our journals.


  • Managing various systems to ensure that data is up to date and accurate


  • Communicating effectively and widely to ensure that tasks are kept on track and any problems resolve



Requirements
 


  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate an eye for detail


  • Be data literate and have an analytical mindset with skills to manage data and derive insights.


  • Be able to gather data for analysis from several sources and systems and present in a clear and readable format


  • Enjoy collaborating with teams to deliver projects that help make a difference
