The Project to Assets Analyst will be responsible for accounting and reporting for long-term fixed assets and intangibles of the company. 

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting and Reporting:

• Oversee the creation, monitoring, and capitalization of projects
• Track and control costs associated with projects
• Manage the accounting and reporting of long-term fixed assets and intangibles
• Handle the acquisition and registration of assets
• Analyze depreciation, depletion, and amortization
• Manage the disposal and elimination of assets
• Coordinate month-end close activities
• Perform fluctuation analysis
• Provide support for tax reporting
• Handle governmental reporting requirements

• Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain close interaction with business lines and Planning & Stewardship teams

• Fixed Assets Independent Verification: Support fixed assets independent verification

• Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation: Perform balance sheet account reconciliations

Required qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and reporting of fixed assets and intangibles

• Skills:
   
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with data visualization tools and ERP systems is a plus
• Understanding of accounting principles and practices
• SAP, Group Reporting , Blackline, Workiva or analytics tools such as PowerBI
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Proficiency in English
• Analytical and creative thinking abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Resilience, flexibility, and agility
