YOUR RESPONSIBILITES :
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Act as Single Point of contact for Asset Management for Business
- Maintain a strong relationship with business, and IS&T tower for project deliveries
- Support building the vision of configuration management for SLT
- Support the positioning and use of the configuration management data base as the source of all data.
- Ensure end to end view of the configuration management process and act as a point of contact for the configuration and data management topics especially in BAU
- Ensure continuous improvement of configuration management data base accuracy and completeness, and ensure continuous enlargement of scope towards complete IS&T scope
- Drive key projects and initiatives related to configuration management and ensure strong articulation between them and mobilization of the right resources
- Ensure continuous progress in terms of automation of data upload to configuration management data base
- Define and implement a strong configuration management governance model, and implement clear roles and responsibilities for configuration management stakeholders
- Maintain strong and close relationships with configuration management key stakeholders including service owners, application owners, architects and IS&T Directors
- Communicate regularly about configuration management strategy, priorities and on-going projects to external and internal partners, and ensure constant awareness and alignment
- Measure the satisfaction of configuration management stakeholders on regular basis, define and implement the related improvement plan
- Guide support and mentor the lab teams for asset management
- Support the business to delivery of asset management,
- Check the accuracy of data and challenge business if adaptations is required
- Approve Asset management validation report for business
- Maintain strong and close relationships with business for asset registration, EDR eligibility.
MAIN CHALLENGES OF THE ROLE :
- Understand the global IS&T strategy and its articulation to the overall Alstom strategy
- Understand the overall IS&T organisation (including external partners) and the challenges of every operational teams
- Develop a culture of digital and transformation within the IS&T through constructive iteration and agility
- Collaborate actively with business, project operational teams from the entire IS&T organisation
- Manage the configuration management team as well as partners and suppliers
Qualifications & Skills:
EDUCATION
Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in computer science, you have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in database management & IS&T management. You have a good understanding and experience of information technology.
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:
To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:
- As a manager you demonstrate strong communication, leadership and change management skills. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.
- Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in a global environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
- Strong Experience in project and program Management.
- General: WORD/EXCEL/PROJECT on Windows.
- Position open in India (Bangalore mandatory), travel to France and other region (limited)
