Position Summary:


The AMEA Product Commercialization Process (PCP) Project Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning & driving new product commercialization across AMEA. This individual will work directly with global PCP program teams, the AMEA Commercial teams as well as cross-functional business partners to plan and execute commercial launch activities.


This role is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the regional commercialization team and deliver world-class products to our customers. Candidates will have the opportunity to be within Illumina’s commercial organization, while interacting with cross-functional business partners and can take pride in bringing cutting-edge products to customers.


Position responsibilities:


  • Identify regional deliverables & drive its completion to successfully launch new products in the region.
  • Collaborate closely with global PCP team to align on project implementation activities.
  • Socialize commercial readiness review decks with the regional readiness team to collate feedback & provide it to global PCP team within the indicated time.
  • Create a one-page summary for new product launches & update AMEA PCP newsletter as & when required.
  • Utilize project management tools to track activities, progress & timeline changes.
  • Participate in risk assessment & walk-the-wall exercises.
  • Communicate changes to project plan, impact to business goals & create reports as & when required.
  • Commitment to delivering quality customer experience for new product launches.

Position Requirements:


  • Efficient in project management & possess an eye for detail.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills including report writing/ minute taking & summarizing key take-aways.
  • Excellent interpersonal & collaborative skills.
  • Ability to initiate & lead cross-functional discussions.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity & working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:


  • B.S. or equivalent in science or business-related field required with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Timeline, Word
  • Experience with Atlassian Tools such as Confluence (preferred)
  • Experience with project management tools (preferred)
