Hiring for a Project Manager (Insurance domain) for an Indian headquartered InsurTech platform provider.

Our client is an Indian headquartered InsurTech platform company focused on creating innovative software products to address the challenges of the global Insurance Industry. Leveraging their domain expertise, regulatory knowledge, and technology experience, they architect innovative products and disrupt the Insurance value chain from Customer Acquisition to Engagement. Their products serve customers across the APAC region including India, Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia.


Role details:


  • Title / Designation: Project Manager
  • Location: Mumbai/Pune
  • Work Type: In-office

Role & responsibilities:


  • Lead end-to-end project execution, from initiation to closure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Tailor the approach based on project requirements, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely deliverables.
  • Identify and assess project risks. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including business units, development teams, and executive leadership. Communicate project progress, risks, and achievements effectively.
  • Monitor project budgets, allocate resources, and track expenditures. Ensure optimal resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Uphold quality standards by implementing best practices, conducting regular reviews, and ensuring adherence to project specifications.
  • Travel as required for project discussions and client meetings (including overseas).

Candidate requirements:


  • 8+ years of experience with the last 4 years into project management in the insurance domain.
  • Should be willing to travel overseas for project-related meetings/discussions etc.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent – preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
  • Pre-sales and estimation techniques experience.
