IBM Cognitive Asset Engineering Services is looking for a motivated and seasoned Project Management Office (PMO) to our global team. The PMO is responsible for setting and maintaining project standards. You’ll help support project teams and project managers while also working with other departments to ensure that projects are coordinated and aligned with organizational objectives.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, processes, and tools across the Asset Engineering team globally.
- Provide governance, support, and oversight for multiple projects.
- Being involved in high-level stakeholder engagement activities across projects.
- Establish knowledge management repositories and facilitate knowledge sharing across projects.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project and portfolio performance.
- Analysing financial data thereby producing financial reports and budget outlines
- Calculating the monetary risk for each project
- Creating reports for senior managers and stakeholders
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 8+ years of experience in Software Industry with at least 2 to 3 years’ experience in a supervisory position
- Good experience in Resource planning, Financial Management, Risk Management and Stakeholder Management
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and strength in working both independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Previous Experience in an Agile Working Environment
- Agile Certifications e.g. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) / Professional Scrum Master (PSM) / Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM)
- Certification in a Project Management e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP) / Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
