Project Lead – L&D


What you will do


The Project Lead will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the planning, coordination, and execution of various learning and development projects. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of training initiatives tied to business needs.  


The Project Lead will be responsible for initiating project kick off meetings, brainstorming with the stakeholders and L&D team members to understand the requirements and drive the right solutions. The individual will work closely with the Project Managers & Project Coordinators to create quality reports and operation reports.


How you will do it


  • Collaborate with learning stakeholders to initiate projects to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis to determine the most effective learning methodologies and technologies.
  • Develop and implement learning and development projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to established parameters.
  • Manage the development and delivery of various training materials, including e-learning modules, learning videos and apps, job aids, etc.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure the successful delivery of outsourced learning initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure timely completion of milestones.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, ensuring effective information sharing.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, stand up meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project progress.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and impact, collecting feedback from participants and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development, incorporating innovative approaches into projects.
  • Maintain project documentation, including project charters, project plans, and training materials.

What we look for


  • Qualification and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, human resources, learning and development, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
    • 6+ years of project management experience in e-Learning domain is preferred, Change Management experience and/or project management certification is a plus.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong knowledge of learning and development strategies, tools, and methodologies.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent reporting skill to highlight project contribution towards business success.
    • Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on accuracy, process adherence, and precision in project documentation and deliverables.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Excellent PowerBI Skills
  • Focus on cutting-edge technologies and methodologies that are based out of machine learning and AI.
  • Establishing ongoing feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.
  • Mentoring coordinators within the team.
  • Building strong relationships with vendors and partners and ensuring the project expectations and timelines are met.
  • Applying Agile methodologies in learning solutions.
  • Facilitating workshops/initiative for engagement and collaboration.

  • Quick to grasp how building environments are created, and business lines are organized.
  • Creative and forward thinking; thinks outside the box; constantly looking forward at new ideas.
  • Very comfortable with grey areas; can adapt and change to meet business needs.
  • Knowledgeable in instructional design principles and adult learning theories and/or Graphics Designing/Software Programming.
  • Experienced in working with offshore stakeholder, vendors and handling projects involving HTML5/Articulate/Captivate/SCORM.
  • Familiar with of HVAC/Building automation/Fire and Security industry.
  • Designing programs considering cultural differences and learning styles.
  • Promoting platforms for team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Utilizing analytics for data-driven training design.
  • Networking with industry professionals and stakeholder across the world for best practices.
  • Understanding compliance in specific training industries.
