Hitachi Energy is currently looking for a Project Engineering entry professional for the High Voltage Business to join their team in Maneja, Vadodara, India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual.

Job Description:
·Project Engineering focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project including Preparing designs, project controls and specifications
·Performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
·Plan, schedule, assign work, establish priorities, resolve resource problems and take appropriate measures to ensure work meets specifications and is completed on schedule.
·Provide complex technical advice to other departments
Preparation of technical documents / instructions for product
Evaluation of product related technical specification requirements from customers.
Interaction with customers for product approval & technical clearances.
Conduct RCA of product failures and prepare analysis reports.
Maintenance of master data related to product in SAP
·Maintain awareness of state-of-the-art technology and market trends affecting Company products and services and recommend responsive actions.

·Engineering: Knowledge of Power System and Substations, specially related to substation layouts, clearances requirement for HV products. Preparation of project layouts based on customer requirements
·Prepare & release drawing of Disconnector order bound drawing and Manufacturing sheet as per customer requirements
·Provide technical assistance for localization of identified component by SCM team in consultation with Manager.
·Documentation: Maintaining the latest revised technical documentation in SAP as per the project requirement and communicating it to the concern vendor & cross functional team
Basic Qualifications (Required skills/ experience)
Preference will be for qualified candidate worked on same / relevant background and Disconnector product
HV AIS switchgear product knowledge.
Knowledge of Creo & Auto CAD with drawing office practice.
Should have knowledge of the relevant national and international (IEC) standards.
Preparation of project layouts based on customer requirements; preference will be for Project Engineers experienced in AIS HV disconnector
Knowledge of SAP (MM Module).
Typical Education & Experience:
A Diploma/bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
Experience required 1-5 years of professional work experience
