Overview
We are seeking a hardworking and intellectually curious Project Coordinator to help development of new Index platform for FTSE-Russell Index Business of London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in our Bengaluru office. Index team is responsible forcalculations offinancial Indexes. The ideal candidate comesfrom software development and testing experience and has strong skills in work-plan development and progress tracking. The project coordinator will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goal of innovation is being achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for co-ordinating project activities, drafting project outputs and, ensure projects are delivered to a high standard and on time.
Optimising Project delivery cycle times using SCRUM methodology.
Track QA Metrics across Index Platform
Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate managementchannels and escalate issues according to project work plan.
Track and report team productivity using tools such as Blue Optima
Deepen partnerships with cross teams, including Index research and third-party vendors.
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science / Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
3+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
Required Skills
Has hands-on Software Development and Quality Assurance experience.
Understanding of the SCRUM project management concepts, ideally SCRUM Master / Project Management certified.
Ability to learn quickly, creative, results driven, self-motivated, and solutions oriented.
Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management
Demonstrates a can-do demeanour, leads change, thinks strategically.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Advantageous Skills
Experience in financial services with an understanding of financial market data would be helpful
Experience working with Globally Distributed teams
