Role Profile: The Programme Manager will be responsible for development and delivery of the workstream plans, running workstream governance & submissions to programme governance. Acts as point of contact for the respective business stakeholders to provide support and guidance to drive the evolution and embedding of the Operational Resilience framework across in scope areas of LSEG. This position will report to the PMO & Programme Delivery Director.
Key Responsibilities
Desired Skills, Expertise and Experience
•Minimum 10 years’ experience delivering projects/programmes.
• BE/BSC degree required, Project Management certification(s) added advantage.
• Programme and project management methodologies – Proven track record of using project management methodologies to manage project resources and activities to deliver complex programmes.
• Experience in delivering programmes from a regulatory portfolio of projects, such DORA, from inception through to delivery.
• Project planning & delivery - Demonstrates the discipline of planning, organising, and managing resources and activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe and standards.
• Resource planning & optimisation – Plans, manages, and optimises resources within teams in order to maximise results and achieve desired performance.
• Flexible ways of working - Understands different approaches to project management (e.g., Agile, Waterfall etc.) and ensures flexibility to deliver and execute within different ways of working.
• Business case & benefit management - Prepares and manages business cases or proposals to justify programmes or projects, and identifies, manages and tracks benefits derived from the programmes or projects.
• Navigating the business - Utilises knowledge of practices and approaches for managing and navigating the organisation to support project/programme objectives.
• Communication - Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex / technical information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.
• Problem solving - Defines a problem, generates solutions, and evaluates and identifies the best solution to overcome the problem.
• Relationship building – Interacts well with others, quickly establishing rapport building positive relationships and networks.
• Process improvement - Seeks new ways of working continuously to make processes run smoother and faster.
