The AWS InCommunities team launches long-term, innovative programs that will have a lasting impact in our infrastructure regions around the world where we work, live, and raise our families. We are obsessed with being good neighbors, and we start with the community and work backwards to represent infrastructure communities inside AWS.
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Program Manager to develop, implement, and manage community outreach programs that strengthen relationships between our organization and the communities we serve. Our programs focus on four key pillars: STEM Education, Local Skills Development, Sustainability and Hyperlocal Impact. This role requires excellent program management skills, communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to build meaningful partnerships with diverse stakeholders including non profit organizations and vendors.
Key job responsibilities
*Design strategy and globally scalable frameworks for community engagement programs and events
*Develop and execute innovative programs to support communities and improve positive community sentiment
*Develop and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations, vendors and internal stakeholders
*Create and manage communication channels to keep stakeholders informed and engaged
*Track, measure, and report on community engagement metrics and program outcomes
*Manage community feedback processes to improve effectiveness of programs and events and associated social impact
*Support the development of community-focused content for various communication channels

- 8+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience building and scaling global programs and events that positively impact communities
- 5+ years of communicating with and presenting to executive and senior audiences experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience with community-based organizations or nonprofits
- Knowledge of local community dynamics and resources
- Experience with event planning and coordination
- Familiarity with data collection and analysis tools
