As a Program Manager HCI India here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading and managing the operations of the HCI (Honeywell Connected Industrial) business unit. You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving business objectives. You will report directly to our Regional Business Leader (RBL) and you will work out of our Pune, India location.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a high-performing team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational processes.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


·Manage operations of the HCI business unit in the India.


·Develop and implement strategies to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives.


·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.


·Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational processes and enhance customer satisfaction.


·Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.


·Manage and allocate resources to meet business needs and objectives.


·Provide guidance to the HCI operations team.


Area of Responsibility


Key Activities/Elements



1. Management


·Overall responsibility for end to end delivery of allProjectsat HCI India level with the given resources and delivering the agreed numbers


·Lead and manage HCI India projects operations team in the effective adoption, implementationand compliance with HPS GPMO guidelines, APAC policies, processes, procedures, tools and business best practices



2. Customer Satisfaction


·Ownership to maintain customer’s satisfaction at acceptable levels and promptly resolves customer issues for all HCI Projects



3.Finance


·Ownership for Projects financial performance and monitoring of financial performance on a monthly basisand continuously review estimates versus actuals across HCI projects to continuously improve Projects operational metrics such as Revenue, OI, Working capital etc.



4.Cost Control & Productivity


·Effectively leads the implementation of productivity enhancing process changes related to project delivery


·Responsible for driving costs down to be competitive in the market. Controls cost and maximize productivity through the implementation of effective methods and standard processes



5.Estimate and Risk Reviews


·Participates in estimate review/ risk review process prior to jobs or contracts being quoted to ensure labour estimates are correct and that the work is achievable from a technical perspective. Ensure that subcontracts, where applicable, are complete and documented

6.Resouce Planning


·Ensures projects are resourced properly in coordination with Engineering team


·Develops effective partnerships with subcontractors to ensure an adequate pool of resources is available


·Manage selection and oversight of subcontractors for different jobs in conjunction, where appropriate, with supply team.


·Partner with other Projects Leaders to ensure that the most effective resources are allocated to projects within and outside the district.



7.Team Building / Communication


·Builds effective project coordination teams committed to organizational goals, foster collaboration among team members and between other functional teams


·Develop strong relationships with Sales and Projects Managers so as ensure, effective sales to operations handovers, optimised utilisation of resources, and maximised pull through of Projects and projects.



8.Change Management


·Be the change management leader for team and aggressively work on identifying and converting Change management



9. Other Skills


·Financial Skills: The ability to understand financial data at contract level and identify appropriate actions indicated by variances to ensure key metrics are achieved


·Operational Analysis:The ability to obtain relevant information on operational issues from multiple sources, think broadly about those issues and recognize trends/possible cause-effect relationships

·Execution: The ability to mobilize resources and develop and implement action plans / control mechanisms to achieve desired results and deliver on commitments

YOU MUST HAVE

•   Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
•   10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the process measurement and control industry.
•   Strong leadership and team management skills.
•   Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
•   Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving business objectives.
•   Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•   Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


WE VALUE

•   Six Sigma or Lean certification.
