We are looking for an extraordinaryProgram Architect to develop and productize NVIDIA's DRIVE OS software. As a member of NVIDIA's Automotive Solution Engineering team, you will lead the adaptation of DRIVE OS solutions to various Automotive customers’ car platforms equipped with different sensors.
What you will be doing:
Complete ownership of DRIVE OS programs based on Tegra SoCs, leading a team comprising engineers, functional, safety and security managers, program manager and SQA
Drive high level requirements, architecture and design, safety analysis and test activities of DRIVE OS
Define policies such as code change acceptance criteria, code branching, release criteria, release mode and cadence
Decide upon priorities and roadmap of DRIVE OS releases taking into account use cases and needs of multiple DRIVE OS customers
Guide the team in resolving complex customer escalated issues with a customer-first and solution-oriented approach and communicate effectively with them to explain the status and analysis
What we need to see:
BS/MS or equivalent experience.
10+ years of overall experience, preferably in the automotive industry, with 3+ years of leadership experience.
Background in embedded software development and deep knowledge of product development lifecycle.
Strong understanding of QNX/Linux operating system
Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills
Understanding of ARM processor architecture fundamentals
Knowledge on hypervisor and device driver development for virtualized environments
Exposure to functional safety architecture to meet ISO26262 standard
Effective written and verbal communication regardless of audience or issue complexity.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Extensive development experience on Linux/QNX OS
Ability to solve/root-cause/triage complex embedded system issues
