The Challenge


The Adobe Professional Services Account Executive will help grow the Services business within the assigned territory’s focused set of accounts for North America. The success of this quota-carrying Professional Services role will be determined by the candidate’s ability to identify new business opportunities, to grow the business and to establish new strategic relationships in assigned accounts across several verticals. This role will interact strategically with the License Field Sales team to identify, cultivate and close on new business.


 What you’ll do


  • Adobe PSS will establish a strategic alliance between Adobe and its clients and play the function of a trusted advisor in the Enterprise Customer Journey.
  • Engage in account planning and manage customer relationships effectively. 
  • Generate net new bookings for specific services by identifying and securing professional services engagements. 
  • Establish and sustain an active pipeline of anticipated deals to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, while managing RFPs and RFIs as required. 
  • Responsible for leading negotiations, overseeing contracting, and managing the approval processes. 
  • Follow up on leads generated through marketing initiatives. 
  • Rapidly cultivate strong, positive relationships with new clients by comprehending their needs and business goals. 
  • Collaborate with customers to create a shared plan for how Adobe can assist in transforming their digital operations. 
  • Work closely with Sales support, including solution and business architects, to deliver compelling customer proposals and recommendations. 
  • Coordinate with Adobe’s delivery team and jointly manage customer relationships within accounts to ensure successful project execution, while addressing escalations and resolving issues. 

What you’ll need to succeed


  • The job requires 10+ years of experience in an enterprise-level software consulting or services sales role, with a proven track record of exceeding annual quotas.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, Digital marketing, SaaS, and Cloud-based offerings is essential.
  • Ability to assess customer environments, collaborate with Adobe software sales, nurture relationships, anticipate problems, and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Excellent team building, communication, and reporting skills are required.
  • A bachelor's degree with an MBA is preferred.
