Professional, Quality Assurance Engineering (SDET)

What does a successful SDET do at Fiserv?
- Understand business requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and QAs to test software and ensure quality.
- Design and maintain automated test suites.
- Experience with different QA/defect tracking tools and processes.
What You will do:
- Identify Production Stabilization and improvement areas for better Client experience.
- Collaborate with QA engineers, Software developers and product managers in scrum teams to deliver high-quality products in timely and cost-effective manner.
- Decompose requirements and develop test automation scripts/frameworks for projects of simple to high complexity including both functional and interoperability.
- Practices automation development efficiency, maintainability, and reusability
- Develops automation utilities and scripts according to the coding standards.
- Participates in technical review meetings and automation framework enhancement forums and demonstrate the work independently with minimal supervision.
- Lead the design, development and maintenance of automation frameworks and automation test suites with CI/CD integration.
- Contribute to improving test coverage and release velocity.
What you will need to have:
- 3 to 5 Years of Experience in Testing with minimum 3 Years in Automation
- Have good experience in UI/API Automation - Selenium/REST Assured/BDD/Cucumber using Java
- Should have solid programming experience in Core Java
- Able to Design/Develop/Execution automation Test Scripts, Re-Usable Functions and Results generation
- Able to work independently with selenium tools and Configuring Selenium Test Environment
- Handling Object Identification/Exception handling issues.
- Good Experience in Inspecting Elements, Create Test Cases using Element locators and Selenium WebDriver Commands.
- Able to write Gherkin feature files for identified user stories, Write Step Definitions for Gherkin keywords and Link with actual implementation of Code
- Proficient in writing SQL queries to perform Database Testing.
- Working experience in Maven/Junit/TestNG Integration’s
- Report to the Project Manager on the status and progress of work and accountable to the timely completion with quality.
- Good understanding of Banking Domain Knowledge is mandatory
- Experience on Signature Product is desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to speak with the Business Partners are essential and non-negotiable for this position.
What would be good to have:
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Knowledge of tools like Pipelines, Git Repo, SQL developer.
- Prior experience in Payments or Banking and Finance domain in general.
- Working experience on CICD/ DevOps – Jenkins
